Dow futures rise as Fed pause bets rise

US stock futures were trading higher in the overnight hours of Sunday after the major averages scored their best weeks of the year following worse-than-expected nonfarm payrolls data.
Dow Jones Futures were 0.1% higher at 6:45 p.m. ET (11:45 p.m. GMT), while S&P 500 Futures and Nasdaq 100 Futures were flat.
Investors will be watching trade balance data, wholesale inventories and trade sales, as well as preliminary Michigan consumer mood and forecasts, in the coming week. Market participants will also be paying particular attention to speeches by Cook, Barr, Waller, Williams, Logan, Powell, and Jefferson.
Uber Technologies Inc (NYSE:UBER), UBS Group AG (NYSE:UBS), Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:OXY), and Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) are among the firms with earnings.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 222.2 points, or 0.7%, to 34,061.3, the S&P 500 rose 40.6 points, or 0.9%, to 4,358.4, and the NASDAQ Composite rose 184.1 points, or 1.4%, to 13,478.3.
The Dow rose 4.7% last week, the S&P 500 rose 5.3%, and the NASDAQ rose 5.7%.
On the bond market, the 10-year US Treasury note dipped to 4.574%.
